A Little About Shelley...

Shelley Uram, M.D. is a Harvard trained psychiatrist who lives in Phoenix, Arizona. She is triple board certified in adult, child/adolescent and forensic psychiatry. Dr. Uram trained at, and served on the staff of the Harvard Medical School, and currently teaches medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Shelley Uram Dr. Uram speaks nationally and internationally on the impact of brain functioning upon our authenticity, and related topics such as "The REAL Glass Ceiling"; "Flowing with Change - Seven Principles"; "Personal Boundaries and the Brain"; "Core Beliefs and Expectations"; "Psychological Trauma and Addictions"; "Sexual Trauma; Healing to Wholeness", and others topics.

She has conducted hundreds of lectures, workshops and seminars to a wide variety of audiences in most major cities in the United States and consistently receives rave reviews. These groups have included many businesses, universities, medical schools, the Catholic Archdiocese, the American Bar Association, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the United Kingdom/European Symposium on Addictive Disorders, Imago conferences, peer assistance program for nurses, and many others. She also co-facilitates lectures and workshops with Dr. Claudia Black, Pia Mellody, John Bradshaw and Dr. Peter Levine. Dr. Uram has also published several articles.

When not speaking or writing, Shelley is in private practice and serves as a Performance Enhancement consultant to individuals and programs.
